A Summer in the Sierras

During Summer of 2024, I spent three weeks camping and traveling throughout the Sierra Nevadas, exploring and photographing the things that I saw.

The trip involved traveling from Plumas National Forest all the way down through the mighty Sequoia’s taking various scenic high ways, and visiting historical landmarks along the way. From bears stealing my food to talking with people who say they’ve seen Sasquatch, this trip holds a special place in my heart. Quite often, Muir’s words came to me that the Sierras are a mountain range of light more than anything, and it’s easy to see why he would say that. The way the light changes the mood and atmosphere of the large granite peaks is awe inspiring, and I cannot wait to spend more time in that magical place.
